Ice storm




It wasn't too bad as ice storms go - I've certainly seen worse. A few years back, we had ice the thickness of a broomstick on car antennas, so I guess we should count ourselves lucky.

There was a shell of ice on the car windows this morning, but it broke off pretty easily since the temperature was just above freezing. (33-34 degrees) The rain kept up all day, though, and was predicted to turn to ice as it dropped below freezing in the late afternoon. My office closed early, and I was able to make it home before the streets turned treacherous.
