It's the queers, Stuart!

WorldNutDaily shows how they got their name:
Violence in Israel caused by 'gay' event?

BEIT EL, Israel – Are Israel's troubles in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon and the Hezbollah rockets slamming daily into major Israeli population centers here a result of the Jewish state's tacit support for a homosexual parade slated for next month in Jerusalem?

Some rabbis seem to think so, and they are attempting to block the event from taking place in Judaism's holiest city.

I can't really add anything to this. It says it all.

No real surprise here.

Bill Clinton defends Lieberman's Iraq stance

Former President Bill Clinton is sticking up for U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman and his support of the Iraq war.

Clinton, who spoke at an Aspen Institute conference last week, questioned why Democrats in Connecticut are focusing on ousting a fellow Democrat, Lieberman.

I never really liked Bill Clinton much, and this is a perfect example of why. If you're a real progressive and a classical liberal, Bill Clinton cares more for the people who impeached him than he cares for you. They're useful to him politically - you're not.

Welcome to World War III

.
Brought to you by the Bush Administration, in association with Halliburton and the Carlyle Group.

I hate to say "I told you so" but I did. Not that I was the only one - a whole bunch of people tried to tell you, but you just weren't havin' any. You waved your stupid little flags and chanted your stupid little pledge and sang "Gawd Bless Ahmurka" while your idiot leaders marched us all off a cliff. Nice work, dickheads.

Now a fair number of people are most likely going to die, and as luck would have it, very few will come from the ranks of those who were so enthusiastic about getting into this clusterfuck in the first place. What a pity.

Yahoo News - GOP candidates in N.Y. turn on each other

With the state's GOP standard-bearer, Gov. George Pataki, stepping down this year, Republicans have struggled to identify promising candidates for statewide office.

Pataki's handpicked choice to challenge Clinton, former Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro, was forced to abandon the race after an embarrassing set of missteps and is running for attorney general instead.

Well, one would hope. Because while you sure wouldn't want to have some incompetent bozo as governor, it's perfectly acceptable to have one as attorney general. I think the Republicans call this the Ashcroft Principle.
