    Antec did this to me on a mid-tower case purchased at Fry's Electronics. It was an Ok deal without the rebate, but still. I've had it happen elsewhere and friends have reported the same thing.

    If enough people wise up and pass on these rebate scams, maybe it'll stop. Ideally it should be investigated as some sort of fraud, but what's the likelihood of that actually happening?

    So if it isn't a good deal without the rebate (assume you won't get it) then don't buy it!
